When playing normally both allow the data to flow freely but when someone uses a lag switch is cuts off the outbound connection without cutting the inbound one for a duration of 1 to 10 seconds. This allows the person to move around and attack while becoming temporarily impervious to attacks. Whatever you do during this time is cached up by the system and when the connection is restored your system syncs up. Your system will then register any damage you have taken as well as transmitting out what you did. Anything you did during this time will appear in a burst to your opponents. A Lag switch can provide a great advantage in shooters like Halo and Call of Duty especially in a 1v1; they are also used to glitch games in ways that would not be possible otherwise. If you enjoy winning we suggest you pick one up; you can buy a premium lag switch here or check out our lag switch FAQ.

No related posts.

What Our Competitors Won’t Tell You

Lag Switch

So you just bought a lag switch from our competitor. It finally comes and you can’t wait to try it out. But wait.. What’s this? It disconnects you from Xbox Live instantly! You start thinking that you must be doing something wrong, but it’s not your fault. Our competitors make you believe you’ve got everything you need to start it up. What they don’t tell you is that the Xbox 360 has a voltage detector attached to the back and that their switches won’t work if hooked up directly to the Xbox.

Here’s what you need to do to get theirs working. First you’ll need a spare Ethernet hub, switch, or router. Second you’re going to need another Ethernet cable. Its annoying we know. (Alternatively you can buy our lag switch which has a special mechanism to bypass this voltage detector)

Take an a spare Ethernet cord and run it from your Xbox 360 to your router, hub, or switch.

Then hook up the lag switch between the hub and your modem or router leading out to the modem.

This should work for you but if it doesn’t then your switch is probably broken and you’ll probably need a new one.

Whether we just saved you from buying from them or we just helped you get theirs working just remember this: When you buy Premium Lag you get a straightforward explanation.

You can buy a premium lag switch here.

No related posts.

The Premium Lag Switch

Lag Switches

The Premium Lag Switch from Premium Lag is the most affordable, responsive and reliable lag switch on the market today (not to mention the smallest). All of our switches are designed and developed under direction of a certified electrical engineer. We start with high grade 14ft Cat 5e cable with durable connectors. Our experienced engineer then performs the necessary work, including the installation of our proprietary Stealth Shield™ technology, connects our ultra-responsive spring loaded button, and packages it in a durable hard-plastic case. The switch is tested in the assembly room and then again in the testing phase of production on an Xbox 360 over a high speed cable internet connection. On top of the careful work and premium parts our lag switches ship with a 90 day warranty, triple that of our competitors, so you know that when you order from us you get the most for your money.

Stealth Shield™ technology

No setup required.
